Doha Street

The Beautification of Doha project proposes a comprehensive streetscape strategy for Downtown Doha, focusing on improving pedestrian comfort, urban identity, and the overall quality of public spaces. The design reorganizes pedestrian and vehicular circulation while integrating shaded walkways, landscaped areas, urban furniture, lighting, and defined parking zones. Special attention is given to key streets, intersections, the Souq area, and the coastal promenade, creating stronger pedestrian connections and more comfortable recreational spaces. Through climate-responsive planting and public-space interventions, the project aims to create a safer, more accessible, and cohesive urban environment that reflects the character of Doha.
