Art Studio

Art Studio is an interior renovation design project in Istanbul, Türkiye, focused on improving functionality while preserving the original architectural character of the space. The design approach combines existing elements with contemporary interventions, creating a balance between preservation and modern requirements. The renovation includes updates to floor and wall finishes, ceilings, wet areas, windows, doors, and fixed furniture. Existing materials and architectural features were retained, repaired, and reused wherever possible, reducing unnecessary replacements while maintaining the identity of the interior. New kitchen units and built-in furniture were integrated to improve spatial organization and everyday functionality. Material selection and finishing details were carefully considered to establish a consistent relationship between original and newly introduced elements. Through practical design solutions and a careful approach to renovation, the project creates a more functional, cohesive, and updated interior while respecting the existing building's character and preserving its architectural identity for continued use.
